News Release: Leonard C Boyle, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that MATTHEW V. BLACKWELL, 41, of Woodbridge, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Sarah A.L. Merriam in New Haven to 21 months of imprisonment, followed by two years of supervised release, for tax evasion. Judge Merriam also ordered Blackwell to pay a $10,000 fine and to perform 120 hours of community service while on supervised release.
