BTS Releases National Census of Ferry Operators Results - The U.S. Department of Transportation's Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) today released the latest results from the biennial National Census of Ferry Operators (NCFO) conducted in 2014. Key findings indicate that 128 ferry operators across the nation reported providing service through nearly 442 terminals on 761 unique route segments in 38 states and one U.S. territory, using a fleet of almost 500 active vessels.
