The following press release was published by the U.S. Department of Transportation on May 6. It is reproduced in full below.

Secretary Buttigieg is with U.S. Senator Bob Casey, U.S. Representatives Lamb and Doyle, and state and local officials in Pittsburgh. Earlier today, he viewed the McKees Rocks and West End bridges, and the Emsworth Locks and Dam. These are examples of the critical infrastructure along the Ohio River, and across the country, that are in dire need of repair. Secretary Buttigieg will discuss the American Jobs Plan and how it will create millions of good jobs fixing our current infrastructure and building the modern infrastructure of the future.
