What did Justice Department publish on July 19?

The US Justice Department published a one page correction on July 19, according to the U.S. Government Publishing Office.

The correction is focused on Joint Motion To Modify Final Judgment and United States' Memorandum in Support of Motion To Modify; United States vs. Baroid Corp., et al..

The Department is one of the oldest in the US, focused primarily on law enforcement and the federal prison system. Downsizing the Federal Government, a project aimed at lowering taxes and boosting federal efficiency, detailed wasteful expenses such as $16 muffins at conferences and board meetings.

Notices are required documents detailing rules and regulations being proposed by each federal department. This allows the public to see what issues legislators and federal departments are focusing on.
