A unanimous-consent agreement was reached providing for further consideration of the bill at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, July 21, 2004; that the time until 11:30 a.m. be equally divided between the Chairman and Ranking Member of the Committee on Finance, and that at 11:30 a.m. the Senate vote on passage of the bill; provided further, that when the Senate receives the companion measure from the House, the Senate proceed to its consideration, the bill be read a third time and passed with no intervening action or debate; and that once the Senate has passed the House companion measure, passage of S. 2677 be vitiated, and the bill then be returned to the calendar.

consent agreement was reached providing that the Committee on Appropriations be discharged from further consideration of H.R. 4766, making appropriations for Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2005, and that the papers be returned to the House of Representatives.

Nomination: Senate continued consideration of the nomination of William Gerry Myers III, of Idaho, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit.
