Jan. 15, 1999 sees Congressional Record publish “CONGRESSIONAL PROGRAM AHEAD”

Volume 145, No. 6 covering the 1st Session of the 106th Congress (1999 - 2000) was published by the Congressional Record.

The Congressional Record is a unique source of public documentation. It started in 1873, documenting nearly all the major and minor policies being discussed and debated.

Senate Chamber

On Monday, Senate will not be in session.

On Tuesday, Senate will continue to sit as a Court of Impeachment to consider the articles of impeachment against President Clinton; also, Senate will meet in joint session with the House of Representatives to receive the President's State of the Union message.

During the balance of the week, the Senate expects to continue consideration of the articles of impeachment against President Clinton.

(Senate will recess on Tuesday, January 19, 1999, from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., for respective party conferences.)
