Under clause 2 of rule XXIV, executive communications were taken from the Speaker's table and referred as follows:

547. A letter from the Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs, Department of State, transmitting a draft of proposed legislation entitled, ``Iraq Claims Act of 1995''; to the Committee on International Relations.

548. A letter from the Secretary of Transportation, transmitting a draft of proposed legislation entitled,

``Pipeline Safety Act of 1995,'' pursuant to 31 U.S.C. 1110; jointly, to the Committees on Transportation and Infrastructure and Commerce.
