Mr. REID. Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate proceed to executive session to consider Executive Calendar No. 1008, Denny Wade King, to be United States Marshal; that the nomination be confirmed, the motion to reconsider be laid on the table; that the President be immediately notified of the Senate's action, and that any statements relating thereto be printed in the Record.

Denny Wade King, of Tennessee, to be United States Marshal for the Middle District of Tennessee for the term of four years.

Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Commerce Committee be discharged from further consideration of the nomination of Marion Blakey to be Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration; that the Senate proceed to its immediate consideration; that the nomination be confirmed; that the motion to reconsider be laid upon the table; that any statements thereon be printed in the Record; that the President be immediately notified of the Senate's action; and that the Senate resume legislative session with the preceding occurring without any intervening action or debate.
