Commerce Secretary Gary Locke Meets with Entertainment Industry Officials in Los Angeles to Discuss Global Intellectual Property Protection U.S. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke met with representatives from the motion picture industry and labor unions today to discuss the administration’s commitment to global enforcement of laws against intellectual property piracy.Locke was joined by David Kappos, director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and Dan Glickman, Chairman and CEO of the Motion Picture Association of America, at the meeting in Los Angeles.
