Order to cease and desist against The Colonial BancGroup

The Federal Reserve Board on Monday announced the issuance of a consent cease and desist order against The Colonial BancGroup, Inc., Montgomery Alabama, a registered bank holding company.

A copy of the cease and desist order is attached.
