It was bought with the price of lives lost and sacrifices made by countless Americans and their families. Generations of Americans answered the call and many paid the ultimate price to preserve our freedom. We honor their memory today by thanking them and their families for their service and sacrifice and resolving to continue to preserve our freedom for generations to come.”
