Statement by Press Secretary Sara Kuban on Secretary Napolitano’s Upcoming Trip to New York City

For Immediate Release Office of the Press Secretary Contact: 202-282-8010 “Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano will travel to New York City on Friday to honor the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks by participating in the World Trade Center Site Memorial Ceremony and Remembrance at Zuccotti Park.

Secretary Napolitano will also throw out the opening pitch in Friday’s New York Yankees game versus the Baltimore Orioles at Yankee Stadium.

More details on the trip will be released once they are finalized.”
