Statement by Press Secretary Peter Boogaard on Secretary Johnson's Upcoming Trip to the Middle East

For Immediate Release DHS Press Office Contact: 202-282-8010 "On May 31-June 5, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson will travel to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates where he will meet with international counterparts to discuss homeland security-related priorities, counterterrorism, aviation security, and efforts to ensure our common security interests. While in Qatar, Secretary Johnson will attend the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Annual General Meeting, meet with airline representatives, and participate in a panel discussion entitled “Government Treatment of Commercial Aviation.”
