Statement by Press Secretary Peter Boogaard on Deputy Secretary Mayorkas' Upcoming Trip to California

For Immediate Release DHS Press Office Contact: 202-282-8010 On June 9-12, Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas will travel to California where he will conduct site visits to review airport and seaport operations and meet with DHS personnel, local officials, and local law enforcement. The Deputy Secretary will also will meet with immigration stakeholders to discuss immigration reform and efforts to promote and facilitate the process for individuals to renew enrollment in the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
