For Immediate Release DHS Press Office Contact: 202-282-8010 On July 10-12, Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas will travel to Los Angeles to participate in workforce engagements with Transportation Security Administration employees. On July 12, Deputy Secretary Mayorkas will join the Los Angeles Dodgers to celebrate Cuban Heritage Day at the Dodgers Stadium, where he will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Born in Havana, Mayorkas and his family fled Cuba as political refugees, eventually resettling in Los Angeles. Transportation Security Administration (TSA)
