Secretary Kirstjen M. Nielsen to Travel to New Mexico

WASHINGTON— Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen M. Nielsen will travel to Santa Teresa and Artesia, New Mexico on Thursday, April 12. In Santa Teresa, Secretary Nielsen will visit the new border wall construction efforts. She will also attend operational briefings on the wall’s construction and meet with local sheriffs. In Artesia, Secretary Nielsen will speak to the students of the FLETC-Artesia Border Patrol Training Academy on the importance of careers in homeland security.
