Black History Month Program Will Feature Talk Show Celebrity Joe Madison - Archive

WASHINGTON – Talk Show Host Joe Madison will speak on Feb. 26, 2010, in the Department of the Interior's Sidney Yates Auditorium in a special Black History Month Program.

One of America's top talk radio personalities, Madison is known as “The Black Eagle” by his Radio-One WOL-AM listeners in Washington, D.C. and by listeners nationwide on XM Satellite Radio Channel 169. Madison is best known for using his microphone to raise awareness about social injustices here and abroad. He challenges himself and his listeners to be proactive and get involved.

The Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management and the Department of the Interior's Blacks in Government Chapter are sponsoring the Black History Month Program.

Who: Talk Show Celebrity Joe Madison

What: U.S. Department of the Interior Black History Month Program

When: Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Where: Department of the Interior Sidney Yates Auditorium in the Main Interior Building. The visitor entrance to the Main Interior Building is at 1849 C Street, N.W.
