Secretary Gina M. Raimondo held a call with Singapore’s Minster for Communications and Information Josephine Teo, where they discussed collaboration on the digital economy and shared updates on the U.S.-Singapore Partnership for Growth and Innovation since their last meeting during Secretary Raimondo’s trip to the region. Secretary Raimondo also welcomed Minister Teo’s thoughts as the Administration works with its partners to develop an inclusive and resilient Indo-Pacific economic framework that will strengthen commercial ties and economic competitiveness across the region. Secretary Raimondo asked Minister Teo to encourage investors from Singapore to participate in the 2022 SelectUSA Investment Summit, which will take place June 26-29 in Maryland, and welcomed the Minister’s support for the Select Global Women in Tech mentorship network.
