Washington, D.C. -- Today, Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Chairman of the Environment and Public Works Committee, said she sees "a clear path forward" for bringing the transportation bill, Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century (MAP-21), to final passage.

Senator Boxer said: "The Committees of jurisdiction are working side by side and across party lines to get the job done. My deepest thanks to all who have contributed to the positive momentum on this legislation, including my hard-working Ranking Member, Senator James Inhofe, and over 1,000 organizations that have come together despite their differences to protect and create millions of jobs. We will begin our work in earnest when the Senate reconvenes after Presidents' Day."
