Washington, D.C. - Following a meeting called by Majority Leader Harry Reid in Speaker John Boehner's office, Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Chairman of the Environment and Public Works Committee, issued the following statement.
Senator Boxer said: "Senate Leader Harry Reid and Speaker John Boehner have told Chairman John Mica and me to finish our work this week on the transportation bill. I have asked Chairman Mica to meet continually over the next several days to achieve this deadline."
