WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Pat Roberts, R-Kan., Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry, today announced that by voice vote the U.S. Senate confirmed the nominations of Jeffery Hall and Dallas Tonsager to serve on the Farm Credit Administration Board of the Farm Credit Administration.
“I am pleased the Senate acted swiftly to confirm these nominees," said Sen. Roberts. “At the hearing on their nominations we discussed how they would ensure there was robust oversight of the Farm Credit System. I hope they will take my advice seriously and get around the country and visit with farmers and ranchers to provide them with confidence in the System."
The Senate Agriculture Committee favorably reported the nominees at a business meeting Tuesday afternoon.
