WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Senator Pat Roberts, R-Kan., Chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, announced the Committee will hold a hearing to consider nominees for Commissioners of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

What: Consideration of Commodity Futures Trading Commission Nominees

Who: Christopher James Brummer, of the District of Columbia, to be a Commissioner of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission

Brian D. Quintenz, of the District of Columbia, to be a Commissioner of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission

Date: Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016

Time: 10:00 a.m.

Place: 328A Russell Senate Office Building

Per Committee rules, a vote on nominations must occur in a separate business meeting of the Committee.
