Republicans to Hold Jobs and Innovation Forum

WASHINGTON, DC - A group of House Republicans focused on improving the Food and Drug Administration’s regulatory process are holding a first-of-its kind Jobs and Innovation Forum, with a focus on medical devices, on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011, at 2 p.m. ET. Medical device innovators will demo their latest technological advancements and engage in a roundtable discussion with members of Congress and discuss how the FDA’s review process impacts their ability to make these devices accessible to American patients. Members of the public are encouraged to participate in the discussion and submit their questions online through facebook and twitter. The event will be webcast live.
