WASHINGTON, DC - The bipartisan leaders of the House Energy and Commerce Committee today will welcome patients, the inspiration and motivation behind H.R. 6, to Capitol Hill to discuss H.R. 6, the 21st Century Cures Act. Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI), Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO), Health Subcommittee Chairman Joe Pitts (R-PA), Ranking Member Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ), and Health Subcommittee Ranking Member Gene Green (D-TX) will be joined by the visiting patients for a press conference today, Tuesday, June 16, at 2 p.m. in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
