Energy and Commerce Ranking Member Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) issued the following statement in response to the Supreme Court’s misguided decision to delay implementation of the Clean Power Plan rule:
"I'm deeply troubled by today's Supreme Court order to delay implementation of the Clean Power Plan. Opponents have been fighting every attempt by the Obama Administration to reduce our carbon emissions, and these legal challenges are no different. The Clean Power Plan outlines a path to cleaner air, better health, a safer climate and a stronger economy, and I'm confident it will ultimately be upheld by the courts."
