Walden on House Passage of Budget Resolution

The following press release was published by the House Committee on Energy and Commerce on Jan. 13, 2017. It is reproduced in full below.

WASHINGTON, DC - The House of Representatives today passed the FY 2017 Budget Resolution, an initial step in the effort to repeal Obamacare and reform our health care system.

“Today’s vote allows House committees to get to work on repealing Obamacare and rebuilding our health care system. Put simply, Obamacare is a mess. We’re ready to begin advancing solutions that will help families, lower costs, and restore fairness in the relationship between patients and their doctors. Critical work lies ahead, and we are up to the task of delivering badly needed relief for patients," said Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Greg Walden (R-OR).
