“CPSC is an agency tasked with one of the most important responsibilities in government - protecting consumers while ensuring the safety of products in the market. Fortunately for us, we’ve had a strong and eloquent advocate in Commissioner Ann Marie Buerkle. Since joining the Commission in 2013, she has shown her commitment to bettering the lives of children and families through her thoughtful approach and outreach to the regulated community. I look forward to working with Chairman Buerkle in her new role and know she will do an excellent job leading the agency."
