WASHINGTON, DC - The Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, chaired by Rep. Tim Murphy (R-PA), announced a hearing for Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at 10:15 a.m. in room 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building. The hearing is entitled, “Ways to Improve and Strengthen the Anti-Doping System."
Following last summer’s Olympics in Rio and ahead of the winter Olympics in PyeongChang next year, the subcommittee will examine the current state of the international anti-doping system, challenges it faces, and ways it can be improved.
“The Olympic Games represent the greatest athletes in the world, and we want to preserve the integrity of competition, and ensure clean sport," said Chairman Murphy. “This will be an important discussion to protect the revered distinction both the Olympics Games and their world class athletes hold."
The Majority Memorandum, witness list, and witness testimony for the hearing will be available here as they are posted. See Also
