WASHINGTON, DC - The Energy & Commerce Committee packed in quite a bit this week, holding three hearings and a subcommittee markup. #SubCommTech kicked off the week with a hearing Wednesday morning where members examined the country’s emergency alerting systems. That same day, #SubHealth reviewed four bipartisan bills to advance public health ranging from anti-human trafficking measures to the creation of a registry to collect data about the incidence of cancer in our nation’s firefighters. On Thursday, #SubHealth advanced the FDA User Fee Reauthorization Act and two other bipartisan public health bills.
