WASHINGTON, DC - The Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, chaired by Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), today announced a hearing for Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017 at 10:15 a.m. in room 2322 of the Rayburn House Office Building. The hearing is entitled, “Oversight of FirstNet: State Perspectives."
During the hearing, #SubCommTech will examine the latest developments in the deployment of FirstNet, the first nationwide, interoperable broadband public safety network. With the Dec. 28, 2017, deadline for governors coming up, members will focus on the status of states opting in or out of the FirstNet Network.
