WASHINGTON, DC - House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Greg Walden (R-OR) issued the following statement regarding Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Commissioner Mignon Clyburn’s announcement that she will be leaving the agency.

“I thank Commissioner Clyburn for her service at the FCC and to the American people. Though we didn’t always agree when it came to policy, Commissioner Clyburn was an admirable opponent in debate, and I always appreciated her leadership at the commission and dedication to her core principles. I sincerely wish her all the best in the future."
