Energy and Commerce Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) and Energy Subcommittee Chairman Bobby L. Rush (D-IL) announced today that the Energy Subcommittee will hold a hearing on Friday, July 12, at 9:30 am in the John D. Dingell Room, 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building on oversight of the federal government’s efforts to secure the electric grid from cybersecurity risks. The hearing is entitled, “Keeping The Lights On: Addressing Cyber Threats To The Grid."
“Every day our nation’s electric grid faces new cybersecurity threats, and ensuring that the federal government is prepared to face them is one of our Committee’s most important responsibilities," Pallone and Rush said. “We look forward to hearing from witnesses about how we can continue to work to meet these cybersecurity challenges head-on."
