Washington, D.C. - Energy and Commerce Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) and Communications and Technology Subcommittee Chairman Mike Doyle (D-PA) announced today that the Communications and Technology Subcommittee will hold a legislative hearing on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 10:30 am in room 2322 of the Rayburn House Office Building on supply chain security and spectrum. The hearing is entitled “Legislating to Secure America’s Wireless Future."
“In order to pave the way for America’s wireless future, our networks must be secure and employ cutting edge technology to harness the power of our airwaves," said Pallone and Doyle. “We look forward to pushing ahead with legislation to root-out suspect network equipment nationwide and explore ways to improve coordination and management of spectrum resources to better serve the American people."
