Energy and Commerce Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) and Health Subcommittee Chairwoman Anna G. Eshoo (D-CA) announced that next week’s Health Subcommittee hearing will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 1:30 pm in the John D. Dingell Room, 2123 Rayburn House Office Building. The hearing is entitled, “The Fiscal Year 2021 HHS Budget and Oversight of the Coronavirus Outbreak."
Last week, Pallone and Eshoo announced the Subcommittee would hold a two-panel hearing on President Trump’s budget request for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the ongoing coronavirus outbreak. The first panel, with HHS Secretary Alex Azar, will focus on the Trump Administration’s FY 2021 budget. The second panel will focus on the Administration’s response to the coronavirus outbreak with Secretary Azar and other top public health officials.
