House Democrats Release Text of Bipartisan Families First Coronavirus Response Act

In advance of House consideration later today, House Democrats have released the text of the bipartisan Families First Coronavirus Response Act. The legislation is expected to be considered on the Floor under suspension of the rules.

The legislation reflects bipartisan agreement between House Democrats and the Trump administration. It guarantees free coronavirus testing, secures paid emergency leave, enhances Unemployment Insurance, strengthens food security initiatives, and increases federal Medicaid funding to states.
