WASHINGTON, DC - Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Energy and Commerce Committee Republican Leader Greg Walden (R-OR), and six other House Committees Republican leaders released the following statement praising the bicameral partnership to produce a third COVID-19 aid package for the American people.
“The American worker, family, and business owner are counting on their government to act with speed and precision in this time of extraordinary need. Republican members have been in regular contact with their Senate counterparts and we applaud this collaborative approach, which will continue as this package evolves and is refined. Together is how we must govern in times of consequence to ensure Congress acts quickly." said the leaders.
The other Committee leaders include: Ways and Means Committee Republican Leader Kevin Brady (R-TX), Education and Labor Committee Republican Leader Virginia Foxx (R-NC), Appropriations Committee Republican Leader Kay Granger (R-TX), Financial Services Committee Republican Leader Patrick McHenry (R-NC), Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Republican Leader Sam Graves (R-MO), and Small Business Committee Republican Leader Steve Chabot (R-OH).
