Washington, D.C. - Energy and Commerce Committee Republican Leader Greg Walden (R-OR) released the following statement after House leadership elections.

“Strong Republican leadership in the House of Representatives will be as important as ever next Congress as House Republicans fight against the policies of the radical left and work to win back the majority. I congratulate Leader McCarthy, Whip Scalise, Chairs Cheney, Emmer, and Palmer, Vice Chair Johnson, and Secretary Hudson. I am especially proud that Energy and Commerce is well-represented with the re-election of Steve Scalise as Minority Whip and the election of Richard Hudson as Conference Secretary. Steve and Richard are invaluable members of E&C, and I know the Republican Conference will be well-served by their leadership in the 117th Congress," said Walden.

Earlier today House Republicans elected their leadership for the 117th Congress. A full list can be found here.
