E&C Announces Oversight Hearing with Biden Administration Officials on COVID-19 Vaccination Efforts

Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) and Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee Chair Diana DeGette (D-CO) announced today that the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee will hold a fully remote hearing on Wednesday, March 17, at 10 a.m. (EDT) with Biden Administration officials on the national effort to distribute and administer COVID-19 vaccines to Americans. The hearing is entitled, “Leading the Way Forward: Biden Administration Actions to Increase COVID-19 Vaccinations."

“Less than two months into office, the Biden Administration has made remarkable progress securing agreements to procure enough COVID-19 vaccines for every American adult by the end of May," Pallone and DeGette said. “We must continue to work together to meet the challenge of making these lifesaving vaccines accessible for every American quickly and equitably. We look forward to hearing from Biden Administration officials about the efforts they are taking to help combat the pandemic."
