Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-NJ) announced today that the Energy and Commerce Committee will hold a full Committee markup on Wednesday, July 21 at 10 a.m. (EDT) in the John D. Dingell Room, 2123 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
“This week, the full Committee will hold a markup on legislation to promote our nation’s public health and health care system and bolster the security of our telecommunications networks and supply chains," Pallone said. “We will begin by marking up 16 bills that advanced out of the Health Subcommittee last week. The bills provide resources to combat the substance use disorder epidemic, improve public health, increase vaccine confidence, address maternal health and mortality, and deliver long-term Medicaid funding to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Territories.
“We will also markup urgently needed legislation to promote resilient wireless supply chains and secure our networks," Pallone continued. “These cybersecurity bills will together work to educate the public, smaller providers, and small businesses on how to protect their telecommunications networks and supply chains."
