NOV 03 - BANGOR, Maine - Michael J. Ferguson Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration New England Division and United States Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II announced that Corey Pomerleau, 35, of Harmony, Maine, was sentenced today in U.S. District Court by Judge Jon D. Levy to a year and a day in prison and three years of supervised release for conspiring to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute oxycodone. He was also fined $500. He pleaded guilty on Jan. 25, 2016.
According to court records, in 2014, the defendant conspired with others to acquire oxycodone in Rhode Island and distribute it in the Dexter, Maine area.
The case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, with assistance provided by the Dexter Police Department, the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office and the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office.
