Florida member of Thunderguards motorcycle gang

Orlando, Fla. - Andrew Shettler, aka “Yeti," 36, of Daytona Beach, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for conspiring to possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine. Shettler had pleaded guilty on Jan. 30, 2019.

According to court documents, in April 2017, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and later the Drug Enforcement Administration, began an investigation into the drug trafficking organizations that had supplied motorcycle clubs, including the Pagans Motorcycle Club and their affiliated groups operating in the Middle District of Florida, with distribution amounts of methamphetamine. To date, 21 individuals have been found guilty as a result of the joint investigation.

Shettler was a member of the Thunderguards Motorcycle Club, a club affiliated with the Pagans Motorcycle Club. He conspired with several members of the Pagans to distribute methamphetamine in and around Daytona Beach.

This case was investigated by the FBI, the DEA Orlando District Office, the Volusia Bureau of Investigation, the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office and the Daytona Beach Police Department. It was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida.
