They discussed the continued rollout of swift, coordinated, and severe costs on the Russian Federation following the premeditated, unprovoked and unjustified invasion of Ukraine. Deputy Secretary Sherman expressed appreciation for the close and ongoing coordination between the United States and the United Kingdom to confront Russia’s aggression. Both sides expressed unwavering support for Ukraine and its people and a strong commitment to transatlantic unity and European security.
