Tom Price is a good man, dear friend, and dedicated public servant, and he is to be congratulated on his successful confirmation. This tremendous responsibility comes at a pivotal moment for our country, and no one is more qualified to rise to the challenge than Tom. He will play a leading role in our efforts to repeal the failed health care law and provide the American people with more affordable, patient-centered care. As he takes the helm of an agency responsible for more than $1 trillion in annual spending, Tom will help ensure the federal government is efficient, effective, and accountable to hardworking taxpayers.
