Today, Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC), Republican Leader of the Education and Labor Committee, issued the following statement on H.R. 3, the Democrats’ socialized prescription drug pricing scheme:
“Excessive drug prices have placed significant financial burdens on patients and their families. This challenging issue requires a serious bipartisan approach. Unfortunately, today’s partisan bill is just the latest in a string of aggressive Democrat socialist policies. From taking over all student lending to mandating wage hikes, Democrats are pushing an agenda that strips hardworking taxpayers of their rights, and instead, allows big government to dictate their choices."
