Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC), Republican Leader of the Committee on Education and Labor, slammed Committee Democrats after they issued a politically motivated subpoena to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB):
“This politically motivated subpoena is a fishing expedition masquerading as legitimate Congressional oversight. Committee Democrats are fixated on their misguided effort to relitigate the Obama administration’s discredited and job-destroying joint-employer regulation. Today’s action is a blatant attempt by Democrats to subvert the NLRB’s laudable efforts to support small businesses and provide more workers with the opportunity to pursue the American Dream. Once again, Democrats are bending to the will of their Big Labor cronies and far-left activists at the expense of hardworking small businesses across America who are struggling to survive an unprecedented pandemic."
