Today, Education and Labor Committee Republican Leader Virginia Foxx (R-NC) issued the following statement on the passing of Rep. Ron Wright (R-TX), a distinguished Member of the Education and Labor Committee:
“I join my colleagues today in mourning the passing of Representative Ron Wright, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and Texan. During his time in office, his unmatched passion for public service shined bright in the halls of Congress and will continue to do so for years to come. Ron never wavered from doing the work he was elected to do and his patriotism and genuine desire to serve the American people was an example for all of us. I send my heartfelt condolences and prayers to Ron’s wife, children, grandchildren, and the entire Wright family during these trying times, may God bless them."
