WASHINGTON - Following the announcement that Ciaran Martin, Chief Executive Officer of the United Kingdom’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), has been appointed Companion of the Order of the Bath (CB) and will step down in the summer, the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Director Christopher C. Krebs issued the following statement:

“Ciaran Martin is an incredible partner to CISA, DHS, and the United States government. It will be tough to see him move on from his post, but we can be confident that he has set up an enduring organization in the NCSC. As we work to stand up CISA Ciaran has provided invaluable counsel and perspective, and he has become a true friend to me, and our team at CISA, along the way. I am thankful we’ll have several more months working closely as partners together and wish him well on his next chapter." Topics
