Sonny Ray Taylor, 37, of Casper, Wyoming, was sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Scott W. Skavdahl on Oct. 20, 2016, for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and for carrying a firearm during a drug trafficking crime. Taylor was arrested in Casper, Wyoming. He received 144 months of imprisonment, to be followed by three years of supervised release, and was ordered to pay a $200.00 special assessment and $400.00 in restitution. This case was investigated by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

Marco Antonio Torres-Torres, 44, of Mexico, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on Oct. 25, 2016, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Torres-Torres was arrested in Casper, Wyoming. He received time served, plus ten days, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment, and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Leonel Hernandez-Celestino, 23, of Mexico, was sentenced by Chief Federal District Court Judge Nancy D. Freudenthal on Oct. 25, 2016, for illegal re-entry of a previously deported alien into the United States. Hernandez-Celestino was arrested in Jackson, Wyoming. He received time served, plus ten days, was ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment, and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
