The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking a volunteer campground host for the Chain of Lakes (West Park Lake, East Park Lake, Heckers Lake, and New Johns Lake) 2022 recreation season. Hosts are responsible for meeting and greeting campers, stocking brochures and restrooms, and general site appearance. Hosts are provided with a full hookup campsite and a small stipend to help cover incidental expenses.
“We are looking for someone who enjoys working with the public and enjoys the outdoors,” said Joe Hall, Reclamation's Dakotas Area Manager.
The campground host site is located at East Park Lake and the host would live on-site from mid-May through the first part of September.
The Chain of Lakes is located 17-miles north of Wilton, North Dakota, on North Dakota Highway 41.
The Chain of Lakes offers free camping, fish cleaning table, dump station, six vault toilets, three boat ramps, and 62 designated campsites.
