Today, Commerce Secretary Gina M. Raimondo met with Polish Minister for Economic Development and Technology Piotr Nowak. During their meeting, Secretary Raimondo expressed the United States’ deep appreciation for Poland’s longstanding partnership with the United States, particularly as our countries work to preserve the security and stability of the European continent in the face of unlawful aggression. She also noted the Department’s commitment to expanding the U.S.-Poland bilateral commercial cooperation. The Secretary and Minister also discussed opportunities to advance the Biden-Harris Administration’s Build Back Better agenda in the areas of promoting clean energy, supporting inclusive economic development, and enhancing shared free market values. The Secretary also discussed commercial cooperation with the Polish Space Agency and proposed a re-launch of the U.S.-Poland Economic and Commercial Dialogue.
